Speaking of side-effects: have you seen how many ChatGPT-generated signs are out there now? Restaurants, cafés, concert posters, t-shirts…

They look like shit (and I’m inundated) so can’t be bothered capturing them in-situ.

How do junior designers cut their teeth these days when their local club can generate a (half-arsed) poster themselves?

I’m expecting a resurgence of sign painting, albeit limited to shops with the money to visually communicate “we’re (still) artisanal”.
